The past 5 months have flown by for our family! It has been filled with spending time with family, with friends, and making new friends. It has been a great time to see our church family and to meet so many new church family members. It has been a relaxing time for us all, which was very needed.
The two oldest boys have been able to attend school at River Home Link, which a public school but incorporates home school with public school. The boys have flourished in this. We are thanking God for all the wonderful teachers that have given their time to teach our boys. They are both loved very much by the staff at RHL.
We have all been healthy accept for an occasional cold, which we are very thankful for after all the health issues we went through during our final months in Togo.
It has been so nice to be back here in the States at this time. We were able to be here for my niece’s wedding, our 16th wedding anniversary, birthdays and Thanksgiving, and will be celebrating our Christ’s birth with our family. It has been so nice to be a part of all these things. Jesse and I have also been able to get away a little (something we can’t ever do in Togo), and we are so thankful for family who have watched the boys for us during those times.
God has been so good to us, He has provided above and beyond our needs. The people around us have showered us with love and it has been amazing.
We are getting ready to go back to Togo on December 31. It always amazes me how much it takes to get ready to go back to Togo: visas, vaccinations, and oh the packing! Please pray for Jesse and I as often times this is a somewhat stressful process.
It will be difficult to leave family and friends soon. Please pray for us and the boys as they have made such great friendships at school and church that make it difficult to leave. As always it is incredibly difficult to leave family. I feel like it never becomes easy.
Thank you all for your prayers.
